Heart of Steel

Yeah, another day another project. They stack up like dead people at the morgue this time a year.
Because all attempts to find a suitable desktop case have failed I am now considering building a custom case. Inspired by certain projects on the web I am investigating the possibility of doing a 100% steel design. Why? [...]

Site updates

The Projects and PC pages are updated. I just can’t keep up with all the crazy projects that have popped up here lately
It is clear that I must come to some sort of conclusion with the HTPC project soon or all interest will be lost. Yeah, I’m standing dangerously close to the angle [...]

Time to move again …

Host.sk has been great so far but there are a couple of problems. For one there are just too many users on the system and porn/warez sites provide an endless onslaught to the server. A better deal yet on the BTTF Box

DVDSoon has a preorder up for the Back to the Future box set. The price is about 40CAD (=240SEK). The best deal yet considering the s&h is pretty cheap and probably free of customs charges. The release date (2002-12-17) is a bit funny though, isn’t it supposed to be released in August?

£17.99 incl. shipping. Note that this is probably shipped from Australia or Hong Kong so there is a possible customs problem. I suppose you could check out Devoted and Ezydvd as well. The release is still a full month away so .. stay cool.
The premium search [...]

X marks the spot

A favorite rant that I often returned to in the old blog is the matter of xDSL connection where I live. Or broadband services in general for that matter. The issue is that I can’t get any of them. Period. Because of a little inconsistency in the telephony line grid the local backbone is unable [...]

The Fight for Freedom - DVD Imports

Since the weblog was off-line during the better part of the spring there were quite a few events that went past unnoticed. I suppose the continuation of these event will be told at some point in time. One of these quite interesting stories followed the import of the long awaited Anchor Bay DVD release of [...]
