LifestreamI realized how bad the “title” table of every post looked in Opera. It should be fixed now anyway. For some reason Opera doesn’t like the <span> tag. It’s a mystery. I also decided to increase the size of the text in the posts (items) by 1 pixel. So now it is 11px instead of 10. The reasons for this is of course increased readability but even more importantly that bold tags weren’t shown correctly before. 10px is just too small a fontsize to render bold text, at least on my setup.
Additionally each item (post) now has a date and item link in the bottom table, i.e. where the posting info is located. Using these links you can easily bookmark or make reference to a single items or day.
All the smileys were replaced also. The full set of available smileys is now:

I’m still mulling over whether or not to ENABLE comments in posts (items, sorry about using this but it is the internal Nucleus name for a post and it creates less confusion). I mean, there hasn’t exactly been a surge of interest over the phpBB forum or the shoutbox. For every person that have “shouted” there are at least 30 who didn’t. At least when I checked the stats a week or two ago. Will anyone use the comments feature? Probably not. It’s a pity since it is one of the best features of Nuclues. I mean, this blog I’ve set up here doesn’t nearly show the full potential of the script.
I might just add that the stat php script is offline at the moment. I need a new and better stat/counter script …
