More postal related stuff

I found out where the BTTF box had gone to btw. Nowhere. It had been at the local terminal all the time and despite of the fact that I ORDERED them to have it sent back for revaluation. NO ONE deceives the battleangel and gets away with it!
:upset:
So I had to cash out the package [...]

DVD arrivals

“Soldier” and “A Nightmare on Elm Street” arrived today, earlier than expected. Just under two weeks shipping. I’m constantly amazed by the american postal service and how the last package of the last order from the shipping location farthest away (LA) can arrive first.
No extra taxes or customs of course.
On a sidenote I must really [...]

Site dev: Progress

Solved the problem with PASQLNEWS and ESCALENDAR by using phpinclude instead of include within Nucleus. Additionally I checked the declaration of all variables within the scripts. Thankfully many authors do global var. by default.
The Shoutbox however doesn’t seem to cooperate. Currently it is the only item left within an iframe, hence the stupid scroll bar [...]

Site dev: The LINKBOX

Just a quick comment on this. Nucleus, as far as I am concerned, has got one major problem - its hermetic structure. Originally it was never meant to work as a compkete website solution .. just a blog with search and archiving possibilities. Because of this, the internal Nucelus commands can NOT be called from [...]

“No no no”, the dull gospel of government agencies

Still no luck with my veritable crusade against the Swedish tax/customs/postal system. It’s sad. Gremlins:SE arrived in the mailbox without any taxes though, but that was pretty much a sure deal. Me: 1, Customs: 1. It petty, I know.
I kinda messed up with the Business Card project. Since I’m not so familiar with real-world [...]

At war

The BTTF (Back to the Future (Trilogy)) finally arrived today. A few days late and as I feared it had been taxed and “penalized” with the ordinary gestapo fees that are habitual with a customs bust. You know the drill .. 25% tax + 63 SEK for pencil pushing and finally the spiteful 25 SEK [...]

Image snatchers

Seems that the Nucleus managed images disappeared a few days ago without me noticing. Strange. The entire folder is just gone …

Fighting back

I just wanted to make a note of this before I forget it. You never know, this might be a day to remember.
I was in contact with the Swedish National Post and Telecom Agency, Post- och Telestyrelsen, PTS, regarding one of my many issues with how ‘things’ are handled in this country. This time around [...]
