Remember the little blunder with the last Djangos order? The one package that lacked a proper customs declaration ..
Djangos chose to refund me with 10 dollar gift certificate for the inconvenience. Great service. Now all I have to do is wait around for the next period of free shipping.
And I still have to take this up with the customs dept. of the Swedish postal service. They’re not getting away just because I’ve had my expenses covered. It’s a matter of principle.

All in all this settles the score 2 - 1 in my favor against the Swedish government and postal service. In April this year I had Highlander(DTS) taxed for 12x something. This amount was refunded by Play.com because of common practise and a special clause in their shipping terms.
The charges for the Djangos package have now also been “refunded” more or less. It will be fully covered when I force the customs dept. to repay the difference.
The one lost conflict was that with the Back To The Future Trilogy Boxset. The declaration was spotless and sadly had the correct amount noted. Bummer. CD-WOW does not accept refunds on return and the box was shipped from Hong Kong so .. it is many times as complicated. Gee, I love a company that will effectively commit fraud with customs declarations. Those are my kind of companies. Screw laws and borders just to keep the customers happy .. and make some more money. No one likes a third wheel, so the government should butt out. Before they get burnt bad.

Well, the Swedish government will just have to live with this standing debt Some day I will collect. I’m coming for you … muhahaha.
