I know it’s silly but it wasn’t until today that I received the final refund from the “DVD bust” (see #157, #134) a couple of months ago. Customs (i.e. the government) actually didn’t quarrel too much but the postal service withheld its share of the money until TODAY. And I since I had to remind them I guess they weren’t planning on refunding anything at first.
I cherish this moment as if it was an eternity. The money itself wasn’t the real prize here. The sum was insignificant. It is rather to beat the system that is so arousing. I am right and the government is wrong. What else is new?
