I requested a second update of my dormant ADSL account today. It seems that as of lunchtime today, there was at least one free port in the local router. Out of the blue, just like that. However, with my usual “luck”, and knowing the system behind the DSL subscriptions, I am pretty sure Telia will book this port for one of their own users before any competitors have time to even blink. It’s pretty much the same situation as with the opticians .. and it’s a little thing called monopoly. And Telia has been very naughty and played extremely dirty in order to hold on to their slipping market share.

By this time tomorrow I will hopefully know more …
