Given the latest dev. on the Swedish DSL scene I felt compelled to post this. Apparently, Skanova realized that they provided more upstream bandwidth than they were obligated to. The current mainstream DSL (512kbps) only guarantees 400-500 upstream.

Exactly what could be expected. I am obviously one of those customers (the majority?) that have a “slightly” above average upstream. Thanks a bunch you idiots. I can only imagine how this change will affect online gameplay. It will certainly make me an even nastier DC user though. Can everyone say leecher?
The thing is also that the price of this service has gone up over the last couple of years. Sadly, the bandwidth has remained the same .. and now it will even be decreased. I will get back to this matter as soon as the shift has been made to see how much upstream bandwidth I have lost. Since Skanova provides bandwidth for all DSL services I do not think that this will be limited to Telia customers only.
