There is something very wrong here. I’m only getting 9% downstream speed (TCP compared to UDP). The upstream speed is still around 75% BUT the UDP rate has dropped by 100kbps to around 580kbps. Maybe this is the promised “upgrade”. Don’t fix what ain’t broken you know … but Telia can probably save a few pennies by lowering upstream speed. Cheap bastards!

This is probably the first major screw-up since I signed up for DSL. And it wouldn’t be such a big deal if I knew that everything would be fixed in the morning. I fear that this downgrade will be long lasting however. I certainly hope for their sake that they don’t mess with the duplex settings.

Edit: I waited, rebooted the router and bridge and now everything is fine. It’s the strangest thing. Never happened before. Back to the leeching …
