Total downstream bandwidth is down to 17 GB. Upstream 22 GB. Only one more week to go before I can shut down DUMeter and stop tracking bandwidth usage. It’s kind of anal to keep doing this but I was curious as to where exactly the actual 512 kbps DSL limit would reside. I mean, a theoretical number is one thing but real world results are dependant on so many more variables. Like for example the fact that I’m almost out of hard drive space. In a week’s time I will either have to start spinning up the burner or I will have to delete stuff. I have a feeling that the total monthly bandwidth will be something like 80 GB down and 110 GB up.

Completed Odyssey 5. Too bad they only made 20 episodes because it was brilliant in it’s simplicity. It was one of those series where you just can’t wait until the next episode. Showtime seems like a bunch of real jackasses to me. They still block foreign (non american) access to their website btw. If you would like to pretend that the world ceases to exist outside of US soil than by all means you can overlook the fact that people rip your material off the internet as well, right? I mean we don’t even exist to you so why would you care.

MacGyver is going well also. Season one is complete and I am currently moving between seasons two and five. Very cool to have around.

I’ve also taken a stab at the new animated Spider-Man series (imdb) that has been running on MTV. Surprisingly well done and interesting. Also, cel shading give a nice ring to the animation I think.

Nero 6 is out. Haven’t bothered with installing it just yet. Seems a bit bloated to me. Still, the amount of new features is overwhelming.
