LifestreamDSL // Total DSL downstream bandwidth is 16 GB since last week. Kind of crappy all things considered. Must really take a couple of hours this weekend to burn xor delete some of the data. Total downstream for July was “only” 78 GB all in all. Will definitely try to smash that figure for August.
MEDIA // More MacGyver obviously. Still struggling with seasons 2 and 5. More Space Above & Beyond. More Spider-Man Animated. More movies. Also got my hands on the Andrew Lloyd Webber - Now and Forever 5 CD Box. All the ALW you will ever need.
GAMES // Starting to get desperate here. The last two games I’ve bothered with (Battle Engine Aquila and State Of Emergency) have been totally useless. Typical console conversions. It seems there is nothing on the horizon at the moment.
I also leeched the Tribes: Vengeance Rag Doll Physics video. Not from Fileplanet of course but rather from Suprnova. Hehe. Anyway, amazing stuff and nice to see that they chose a game engine that actually works. Unlike the previous two Tribes games. I’m sure this will knock your socks off … once it’s out .. which is not in the foreseeable future.
WEBSITE // This site received a total of about 12.000 hits last month and consumed about 760 MB of bandwidth. It’s all in the stats if you must see it. Considering that my FREE f2o.org account has a 3 GB/month limit I have reason to be a bit worried. The usage tripled since the month before and if this continues I will run into some serious bumps.
Top search strings are almost exclusively related to the BitTorrent community in one way or another. There is really no mystery as to where all the hits are coming from. I assume that this is a temporary thing however. Business as usual.
THE LAWN // Goddamn I’m tired of mowing it by now. And I really should buy a new set of multiclip blades to improve the cut. It hurts to see the poor result.
