Almost finished with the first half of the third season of Stargate SG-1. The gigabytes keep piling up quickly around here and there is still no decision on the issue of a DVD burner. I’m stuck in the loop of waiting for a bigger and better model. Basically the worst thing that can happen when you shop computer peripherals.

The final result of the little IKEA escapade is in. Seems things were not a peachy as previously believed. One side of the Billy shelf system was damaged and has to be replaced. Also the bed was not as well packaged as I previously believed and thus sustained some water damage. Typical. The good news is however that I can exchange both products with almost no fuzz. I just have to take them back myself. This is sort of also good news since I wasn’t quite finished shopping. But still, I will waste the best part of an entire day doing this.

The bed is however great. It takes a couple of days getting used to sleeping in a new place but this is superior to my old bed by far. And it looks a lot less cheesy also.

Okidoki, and it is back to the lecture halls once more. I still do not see my path before me. But I am treading familiar territory here. I shall at least try not to complain before the term has even started and I therefore say no more.
