Another productive day

Just being a little sarcastic. Obviously I did nothing productive today. Nothing that will leave a lasting impression anyway. So lets sum up today’s work on the site …

Script bumps ..

Sigh .. I think I’ve nested one script too many. Sometimes this site feels like a deck of cards just waiting to fall apart. Just updated a couple of plugins and realized the item pages were unaccessible. Still can’t access the other posts made today. Sigh.
It seems Nucleus thinks they are posted to the future! [...]

Gzip once more …

Hmm. Seems I forgot all about it since the server move. On the old server (f2o) it was active by default if I remember correctly but on 99k it is not. It’s probably more compatible this way so the 99k admin is surely on the right track.
Anyway. For my particular site it would be stupid [...]

DSL. The new deal.

It seems Scandinavian telephone giant Teliasonera is finally caving under the pressure of competition and disgruntled users. According to this article, Teliasonera has just introduced flatrate to their 2 Mbit DSL service and adjusted the price downward by a small margin to 449 SEK / month.
Of course, there have been other xDSL solutions available for [...]

VideoDB update

I just realized that there was a newer version of VideoDB out. One that fixes the IMDB bug that prevented the import code from functioning.
Also, I just saw that the “SSI thing” I did with VideoDB so that I can list the last entry on the portal page (like this page), was only working with [...]
