Weblog listings

I decided it was about time to try and replenish the drop in visitors that I’ve had since Google decided to change its spidering algorithms (or whatever they did). There are now a whole bunch of pixel size buttons, way down on the right side of this page to indicate which listings I am registered with. They are currently:

BlogStreet Weblog ListingBlogwise Weblog ListingBlogdex Weblog Listing

Blogorama Weblog ListingRSS Search EngineCheck out my neighbors in meatspace ..

I also ping the following listings on every update of the blog:
 »» blo.gs
 »» euro.weblogs.com

For some reason I can’t get the site on weblogs.com. Maybe I need to check where and what Nucleus is trying to ping. Not that it matters much because weblogs.com seems a bit useless. It’s crowded, ugly and slow.

<Edit> For some reason I find that posting from w.bloggar is all of a sudden taking considerably longer to complete. This feature really needs to be examined further … </edit>

No amount of weblog exchanges will replace Google in terms of function and visitor count though. I mean, I’m not interested in just getting people to visit this site. I’m more interested in that they should come here for a reason. And the only way that is going to happen is if Google or some other HTML or RSS search engine gets back on the job.
