LifestreamSo, I’m still having computer problems. But I’m managing. Barely. I’ve re-installed some software but have been reluctant to dwell more on the freezing issue. Ahhh, I really don’t need this.
In other news I’m back at work. Same as last year. Only a new area. And if I for some reason wasn’t clear on this last year I’m filling in at an apartment management company. Gardening mostly. I like that type of work. It gives me a great sense of freedom and a lot of fresh air as well as a rudimentary physical workout. Plus I get there by bike in under 10 minutes which is really important for me. At any rate I do not believe I could stand a typical factory or production line type of job. Of course every job has got its basic requirements and schedule but this just works better for me. Plus I get to change “in-group” for awhile and really return to me “real” in-group. The out-group in this case being namely academics.
Also, I got a big bag from ITAB today. Nothing overly exciting perhaps, it’s just clothes after all. But still I was very impressed with the quality and the fit of the garments. Not to mention the price. Gotta love professional stuff.
