Yes, it’s that time of year again. Normally I don’t visit IKEA more than perhaps twice a year, and one of those times is right after the new catalogue comes out in august. Oh well. A little later than usual perhaps but nevertheless according to plan. Anyway, the main venture was the second workstation and furniture in and around that. Got a really cool chair and a desk just like the one I have at workstation one, only a newer model. Office stuff. And another LACK table for flowers. Also got another mirror for the entrance hall plus tons of nifty items, though too minor to mention.
Had a quite productive day all in all. And as is customary, I stopped by Clas Ohlson, which happened to be running a clearance sale of surplus items. Found a perfectly good amateur tripod for my camera, a Chef’n palm grater and manual power switches at bargain prices.
Also, I solved the bag and battery issue with the camera. And even more TP and cable ducts to wrap up the MediaPC for good. Furthermore I have several items on order from the same company, more sales items that is. Mostly related to automation, motion / night / clock switches, that kind of thing. Everything to make the home environment a smarter and deadlier one.
And to clarify, as far as the camera is concerned, I just need the CF card and I’m set. Should arrive on monday I guess. In the meantime I’m gonna have to make do with the cramped 32 MB card that came with the box.
