Site: Blog Changes

I have been busy perfecting a few things about the Nucleus interface. Most importantly I added categories. I’m probably the last person on the net to add categories but it’s still a big thing around here. My initial thought, when I started blogging, was that all posts and all ideas would interconnect somehow and that categorizing things would be a waste of time. I guess my perspectives have broadened since then. And even since relocating all political chatter to Silent Nation there is still a great diversity that needs to be tended to. Too bad I’m a little late, going through 1200 posts and moving them one at a time wont be much fun.

To make things a little more appealing, I also added category images, even though they aren’t showing much presently. Plus a nifty way of printing category descriptions in templates.

Also, I fixed the archive using another brilliant plugin. Now one can actually expect to find something there and not just be greeted by that pointless calendar and monthly list.

Plugins added: NP_TitleList.php, NP_CatLogo.php, NP_CatDesc.php and a new version of NP_MostPopular.php that wont get stuck in a loop.
