Not that I’m someone who chases validation, but I have found that with XHTML, even the transitional variation, deviating from at least some rules can be disastrous. The site is being given a slightly improved design, both visually and with regard to bandwidth usage. It will probably be a day or two before it’s done and in the meantime the website might not be looking its best. Will also try to use more CSS this time around.

Yes, something happened yesterday. More than the scheduled hardware upgrades. The downtime lasted from about 2005-02-14 10:10 to 2005-02-14 22:18 (GMT), about 12h, with two additional, shorter, outages around 03:31 (GMT) and later at 07:05 (GMT).
As you may have noticed I’ve slapped Creative Commons licensing texts and badges onto Battleangel and Silent-Nation. The reasoning being fairly straightforward. One cannot be sloppy these days. One needs to be wary of mercantile ‘ends’ and ‘means’. To specify even everyday discourse in order not to be misused or besieged.
