Talk about a waste of perfectly good Swedish timber. The dreaded orange pension envelope. I get one of these every year, as do all Swedes, and even though I don’t work. At least not full time.
Why do they bother sending a yearly prognosis for something that for most people is not due for decades. As if the government can see the future, predict economic ups and downs better than anyone else.
And I just don’t like to be reminded. And I see this as a threat of retribution. A way to keep people in line and on their toes. To remind them that this is what their life is all about. That this is more important than all the other white envelopes you get during a year. It’s orange after all. Can they be more overt?
