Sent out another batch of job applications. Half of which were to positions I’m not qualified for. At least not by formal standards. But you never know. There is no such thing as miracles or luck, just incompetent people. One of them may actually hire me. Hmmm. Maybe I’ve been reading too many management books by Scott Adams.

Maybe I should think about getting into web design. I was told so years ago but always shrugged it off. Eventually I may have to consider the possibility. Not that I would know where to begin. Designing websites is no problem, finding (good) clients however is like a needle in a haystack. Most people tend to go with their own mediocre hacks, or they want something so opulent that nothing less than an army of web designers in some fancy, high-and-mighty, hoity-toity office will do the trick.

Maybe I could apply for some extended international relief program. Some nonprofit NGO. Re-planting rainforest or something. Preferably somewhere far away from civilization. Anything really. Does Greenpeace need activists? Does Islamic Jihad?
