Had to cave in and bring out the old mulcher mower. No one else around here has mowed their lawns yet, but I figure it’s just laziness. As long as it grows, it can be cut. Obviously, taking care not to cut too deep is even more important in the spring, but when considering the alternative — waiting and letting the grass get out of hand and escaping its lawn-like stature — the off chance that you might damage the lawn is worth taking.
