Still haven’t decided on a cylinder mower. So it was back to the old Klippo Mulcher again. In an effort to optimize the result, I set out to sharpen the rotating knives on the mulcher plate. I remembered I had a Dremel copy in the toolbox and I thought I’d give that a spin instead of the angle grinder or the bench grinder that I also have. I just lack the proper discs or wheels for these tools, those that I have are way too coarse for sharpening knives. Plus, grinders usually have one speed setting which is really, really fast and gets the metal really, really hot.
One thing I must remember to do is get a full set of tools for the Dremel. I meant to do that but forgot sort of.
Anyway, it could be interesting to see what difference sharpening the knives will actually do.
