I was lagging behind a bit here. Upon checking in with United Publications, I realized that I had missed two entire albums. Battle Angel Alita - Last Order Graphic Novel 4: Angel of Protest and Graphic Novel 5: Haunted Angel.

Now that has been remedied. Hopefully I’ll have them in my hand early next week. At about £6 each (about 80 SEK) incl postage, I’d say it’s a bargain compared to domestic manga and comics resellers.

I’m still not clear on why they keep pushing the “Battle Angel” franchise though. Why not just call it “Gunnm Last Order” or whatever. I don’t know if Yukito Kishiro has started using the same connotation in Japanese (I doubt it), or if it is just a Viz thing. At least they stopped flipping the pages.

How goes the James Cameron movie btw? I haven’t heard a thing since it was made official.
