BitTorrent this and that

I noticed that LOST is now available in dvd-rip. More or less. Only been able to procure the first four episodes and the only tracker where I’ve seen it is BitmeTV so far. As I blinked and missed the LOST hype when it happened, I am looking forward to jumping directly to a DVD source.

After having thought long and hard about it, I decided to go for HIGHLANDER. Being a not so popular show, one has to seize the moment as the HIGHLANDER TV series is now available almost in its entirety on The Pirate Bay.

Another catch is the HORNBLOWER series which I have searching high and low for. Though I suspect it will be some time before I have the complete series in decent quality.

Also, I’m musing over the prospect of bringing home X-FILES. It would need to be a good XVID encoding and not some old divx3 crap though. Would be fun to have at least the four or five first seasons. I recently downloaded STAR TREK TOS season one even though I had said that I wouldn’t bother. So it’s inevitable that I get around to X-FILES sooner or later I suppose.

Still haven’t been able to find either season one or two of MACGYVER. Weird indeed. I always imagined that the show had a broad and loyal following. Season three is just around the corner nevertheless. Same goes for the rather obscure EARTH 2 which I ought to re-download as a dvd-rip and throw away my old tv-rips. Also, I reckon that EARTH ABOVE AND BEYOND ought to appear any time now as a dvd-rip. Like LOST, the DVD is due early September. If indeed people care enough to encode and share it. And talking about future releases, ALF season two seems to be right around the corner. As is ENTERPRISE season three. No shortage of new material really. Information wants to be free.
