Actually took a frivolous visit to the cinema last week and saw The Island. Kind of worked for me. The quartet of dystopian venues in the form of (1) bio-ethics, (2) private security companies, (3) ruthless and unaccountable corporations and (4) the youth and beauty cult. But I guess that if one isn’t terribly entertained by social commentary turned blockbuster, I can see how it would be a little dull.
