I’ve certainly lowered the bar when it comes to storage media. No more Verbatim per mail order. No more fiddling around with comparisons. The last couple of times I’ve just been picking up spindles at my local electronics outlet. Plain and simple. Right now I’m using TDK discs from the same place. Still, I’m curious, especially after seeing this recent comparison. I should really take my own advise and do some imports. Perhaps one could find Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim DVD+R at pretty much the same price, considering the blank disc levies and all that.
CMC MAG fails to impress. But is nevertheless doable. And easily accessible everywhere.
