Fireworks

Wretched New Year. A fireworks to go with that. How should one spend New Year’s? If you’re like me you spent the evening watching a discussion with Errol Morris and Robert McNamara and the newly updated Loose Change 2nd Edition. One cannot let reality slip for even a brief moment or it may be lost to you forever.

On a side note, I found there were an unusual amount of fireworks this year. I don’t like fireworks. But I used to. Things change. For the better. Better for my wallet anyhow. I see it as a symbol for change. Going from the shallow and egotistical youth I once was. The one that was vehemently on the right side of the political spectrum. Who thought he had figured out the world. The one who liked fireworks. The drone that didn’t think much. Now thinking is all I do. All the time.
I hope you all liked your mindless fireworks you drones (I’m sure they were made in sweatshops for a few pennies an hour). You are what I despise in myself, because I too used to be that way. And no one likes to have one’s past mistakes pointed out to them even indirectly.

For 2006, I’ll try to trackback more to blogs. Be a more effective netizen simply. Maybe. Perhaps bring down America’s Empire also. Maybe get a degree in something else.
