FAT32 .. oh why

So, I was unpacking The Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion by RELOADED and guess what. The damn ISO file was more than 4GB in size. Looks like I’ll be forced to abandon FAT32 since apparently there is a 4GB limit which I had forgotten all about. It took me three attempts and switching from Powerarchiver to Winrar to figure out that the 4GB limit was the reason why the archives wouldn’t unpack. For now, I’ll take a stab at converting all non-boot partitions to NTFS. Ironically, the MediaPC already has NTFS on its storage / boot partition but that was a “mistake” and not by design.

I should really try to keep up with the times. Also, I suspect that this is only the first of many Elder Scrolls problems. After having slaved over Azureus for three whole days just to download the damn thing the first thing you find out is that your file system is outdated (even though this is a scene related snag). I can’t wait to find out that my CPU and GPU are outdated as well.
