One thing that always strikes me as odd whenever I’m at the university library is why there are always so many students of economics loitering. Loud and arrogant as they are, apart from their demeanor one must also wonder what sort of skew society we have shaped for ourselves where economists and jurists are two of the major fields of study. Two completely artificial fields built on nothing but nonsense, quasi-science and hodgepodge.
Another things that always annoyed me was how many shelves of books in the library were dedicated to the field of economics. Despite its speculative characteristics. It’s a bit like having shelves of celebrity tabloid magazines or something that has no bearing on anything and that can’t be proven to be more than the weakest form of supposition, given that there is nothing real, no scientific nucleus whatsoever. What a sick world indeed.
