Valley Of The Wolves Iraq

(Kurtlar vadisi - Irak) I’ve been waiting a long time for the properly subbed DVDRip of this movie. I doubt it was worth it, but Kurtlar vadisi has become quite the cult movie already. And besides, there is a measure of poetic justice in the role reversal and the sudden negative stereotyping of Americans. In [...]

BD GLC2500 Cordless Grass Trimmer

Black&Decker GLC2500. We’ll see how it turns out. Very nice model even though cordless trimmers are of course severely limited in terms of runtime. 17 minutes to be precise for this specific model. If that is enough remains to be seen but clearly one can’t be a slouch or one will never finish.
Then again, combustion [...]

Gardening etc

Everything seems potted and planted. I got a new Brugmansia specimen (”Angel’s Trumpet”) for the first time since my original cuttings went belly-up a few years ago. It’s a damn shame one doesn’t have a better alternative for storing and preserving plants during the winter.
I’ve been doing some more planning of the retaining block wall [...]

Gallery2 Mishap

Nothing I did though. The error was the infamous ERROR_PLATFORM_FAILURE and something about templates (I think). So, I proceeded to clean out [...]

Nucleus Plugins etc

I did some improving on NP_LatestComments again. As I may have mentioned, the plugin in its original form is strikingly simple and at first glance it seems unnecessary to meddle with the operation. But alas, time after time I’ve been forced to mend the plugin with little bits and pieces of code in order to [...]

ITAB

I got the new ITAB catalogue the other day and true to form I keep stocking up on good, sturdy apparels. A new pair of Traveller shorts for instance because my old khaki shorts were the wrong size. Cargo pants, another first. A cap made of breathing high-tech fabric and a pair of trail running [...]

That time of year

Yes, indeed. Another year, another birthday. Though they grow less significant with every passing cycle. If I didn’t have people to remind me, chances are I wouldn’t even remember the occasion. I feel the obligation to write something deep and profound but I can’t seem to rally the willpower to do so. I just don’t [...]
