Pondering garden walls or some such concept. Asian garden is still at an impasse. Compost is pending, awaiting me nicking pallet collars from someplace. Perhaps I’ll also use collars for a second kitchen garden raised bed. The one I have is in an awkward position with too little sunlight. I also got Algomin Gardencare for fruit trees and strawberries. I’m going to take it easy with nitrogen fertilizer on fruit bearing plants. The chicken manure I applied to the lawn last week has all but disappeared even if the moss has not. It is receding though.

At least I got all perennial plants repotted and the Dahlia roots prepared for planting. And the potatoes are all done too. Potatoes, what a quaint hobby indeed. Can’t say I care much for those sort of things. There is a difference between gardening and farming.

Nevertheless, it feels like I’m off to a great start this year.
