Sprinkler Hose

Got a 15m Sprinkler Hose from Gardena. For the strawberries primarily. Damn expensive sprinkler system, whether they be from Hozelock or Gardena but well worth it compared to watering “by hand.” Plus the spray is very gentle and doesn’t damage or knock down the plants like a Shower/Spray Gun might. Don’t know why Gardena has three distinct Sprinkler Hose colors since they all seem to have the same specs though. And yes, I did choose the sprinkler hose over the soaker hose because of the time frame. Soaker hoses as I understand them, are working best when they are buried and thus permanent. A thicker and “external” soaker hose feels like a half measure somehow.

And speaking of Spray Guns I replaced the old cheapskate model with a basic Gardena equivalent. Upon careful deliberation I came to the conclusion that one only needs soft spray, hard jet and the fine mist settings. The difference is quite remarkable, mostly because the Gardena nozzle has a metal filter compared to the plastic nozzle with many cheaper brands.

As for a new hose, I’m still looking. Sort of wondering if the Comfort and Premium SkinTech hoses are worth their hefty price.
