Something new for the kitchen. Just to make a note of it. I managed to find the Exido sandwich maker on sale at a bargain price. 135 SEK. I’ve been looking for a good sandwich maker for some time so considering the price and Exido’s stunning test results in a recent test for Swedish interior design and homeowners mag Vår Bostad the decision wasn’t that hard. The very idea that you get something at a discount is just irresistible.
I have to admit though that I fear small kitchen appliances and their redundancy to some degree. I mean, they’re really on the march these days with everything from popcorn poppers to chocolate fondue machines. But the sandwich maker is something in-between. It is semi-redundant, like the electric water kettle, but it is still justifiable for a number of reasons.
