The best investment ever when it comes to moving bulky / heavy potted plants around the garden or into winter storage. I should have thought about that a long time ago, especially now that one get a decent model for less than 300 SEK. I used to have this older “brick and mortar” hand truck but these newer models are clearly superior in every way, at least if you don’t have to move anything heavier than 250kg or so. I imagine those old hand trucks could move virtually twice that but it is difficult to think of a situation where it would be necessary today. Plus the truck frame itself became extremely heavy, compounding the problem.
So, this solves the perpetual problem of potted plants outgrowing the gardener. Now I’m rid of the size limitation for the next season. Now, if I could only get my hands on a decent wheelbarrow that doesn’t cost a fortune and will stand up to abuse.
