A few items to fill in some blanks.

Firstly, I felt that I needed some sort of case for the Samsung Z5 and Belkin’s silicone version was pretty much the only option. Now I sort of wish I’d gone with Belkin’s other suede model as this silicone variation lacked screen protection. You’d think Belkin could have included a piece of adhesive transparent plastic film. So this is both a hit and a miss. Silicone “skins” are obviously a slim way to protect small electronics, but the most valuable component, i.e. the screen, needs some sort of measure as well.

Second, I added a couple of USB memory sticks. I already had a DataTraveler by Kingston, and I’m not a big fan, but it’s cheap after all and good for small, temporary and recurring backups. For all other applications, I got a Sandisk Cruzer. It’s many times faster and is sturdier in every way imaginable. Plus it has U3 and an out-of-the-box password setting. So I can’t break it and if I lose it, most people wont be able to force the software container open.

I also took the opportunity to fill up on AAA NiMH and CR2032 Lithium batteries.
