A shiny new collection from ITAB (branding themselves as fritidsklader.se these days). There may be some quibbling over sizes yet, but overall I’m very pleased with the quality. Simple and efficient at remarkable prices. Sure, Haglöfs or Fjällräven it ain’t, but it is pretty damn close. The problem isn’t so much the clothes themselves as the familiar mail order debacles.

The fabric in question is similar to what Fjällräven calls G-1000. And like Fjällräven, ITAB now uses a wax impregnation instead of the teflon that I’ve gotten used to. It’s probably better for everyone involved – from the environment to your own physiology.
