With little else to do I spent the last couple of weeks training for a forklift certificate. I thought it might come in handy at some point.
Plus it was free. Obviously.
Overall I must say driving a fork lift was more difficult than I had imagined. That is to say, speedily moving and stacking pallets in an orderly manner, from endless scenarios using both a rider stacker and a counterbalanced forklift can be quite difficult. I get why they instituted a certificate in the first place. But all was overcome through enough training obviously.
