Yay, another WW2 fps game. Americans never seem to tire when it comes to mythologizing the and replay past glories.

I don’t know about you, but I for one am tired of shooting Germans and Japanese. When will we get a WW2 game, or indeed any game, where we can kill Americans?

Aside from that complaint, the game is the usual super-scripted shooter, that will last for a couple of hours tops and is essentially just a cleverly disguised CoD4 mod. Perhaps it should have been a free download for people who bought CoD4.

It also seems to have two things in common with many of the recent games. Namely "immersion" and (unlockable) zombies. By immersion I mean the hideous tendency of trying to minimize the HUD as much as you can. And simulating the "clunkiness" of "real life" by making the game extra clunky. This goes in the garbage bin together with Far Cry 2. Don’t bother unless you’re some sort of history buff or the sort who likes to build model airplanes.
