But seriously, who likes this sort of clunky, goofy rts anyway? Why can’t you zoom out further? And why is the game so cartoonish? Hammy live-action cinematics are fun but I think all that money could have been put to better use.

I did play two of the three campaigns but after that I saw no reason to return to the game. I’d much rather play Supreme Commander, if it wasn’t for its poor AI implementation. Not that the RA3 AI is that much more clever anyway. Especially not when it comes to your co-commanders.

Plus, once you’ve gotten used to the massive battlefield and legions of units of Supreme Commander, RA3 feels a bit like moving back in time. And they didn’t even need a time machine to to it.
