For some time now, I’ve been experiencing slow initiation on my windows network. That is, opening network shortcuts took somewhere around 5-10 seconds when it is supposed to be instantaneous.

By chance I happened to disable the IsDomainMaster option, and presto, no more slowdown. I don’t know if IsDomainMaster was set to "true" or "auto" but running this .reg script on just one computer solved the issue.
